NeverGiveUp Science
NeverGiveUp Science arises to help young people from all over Bolivia who want to introduce them in science and/or learn advanced contents on their own, but do not know how to start. The project is based on courses taught through the ZOOM platform to students between 10 and 14 years old. These courses focus on teaching science topics in the areas of Mathematics, Physics, and Astronomy; It also seeks to teach the ability to become a self-regulated learner in science.
The project seeks to guide interested young people and train them to know how to search for theoretical and practical content by themselves on the web, to be able to discern between reliable and unreliable sources, and to use the scientific method on their own for their learning. The content to be discussed depends on the prior knowledge of each student and is totally personalized. Nevertheless, the environment is totally collaborative and the free exchange of knowledge is sought among all students.
The courses were taught on January every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 11:00am to 12:00pm on ZOOM Meetings.
